Wellsthetiq ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our platform.
When you create an account or make a booking, we collect your name, email address, and where relevant, payment information processed securely via Stripe. Suppliers additionally provide business details and availability information.
If you use our handle availability checker on our website, we also collect the name, nickname or social handle you search for, and when you searched it. This is to check availability, prevent handle squatting, and so we can follow up if it's still available.
For website visitors, we also collect anonymous usage data via cookies and the Meta Pixel.
We use your data to process bookings, send booking confirmations and reminders, manage your account, and improve the platform. We do not sell your data to third parties.
If you check a handle but don't claim it, we may email or DM you once to let you know it's still available. First to claim keeps it.
We use Meta Pixel and similar technologies to measure traffic from Instagram and other channels, and to show you relevant ads about Wellsthetiq.
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in, and analytics and marketing cookies (including Meta Pixel) to understand how the platform is used and to show relevant ads. See our Cookie policy for details and how to opt out.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, email us at privacy@wellsthetiq.com. You can also email hello@wellsthetiq.com to request deletion of a handle search.
We retain account data for as long as your account is active, and booking records for up to seven years for accounting purposes. Handle search logs are kept for up to 12 months. You may request deletion of your account at any time.
